Dyslexia is a condition of confusion in the information circuitry within our brain.  Usually the brain is still capable of receiving sensory information. But may not be always able to organize the data neurologically.  The received information may be diverted to another area, or incorrectly filed so to speak, making retrieval difficult, or the brain may even shut down the nerve receptors and we may experience overload.

Many incidents or circumstances can contribute to a temporary or seemingly permanent dyslexia condition.  The circuits that are mostly affected are vital for reading, spelling, mathematical processing and decision-making capacities.  Our eyes are our primary avenue for input of neurological data, via focal and peripheral vision.

No matter how good our intentions, we make mistakes, we have a complex impact on the other. It is important to learn how to handle misunderstandings with grace, immediacy and non-defensiveness. Pitch, Roll and Yaw are the names given to a series of neuromuscular movements related to Disorganization Neurological testing or commonly known as switching. These names were taken from aviation and indicate the various positions that an aircraft can take as it moves through space. This examination applied to the kinesiology field, evaluates the three-dimensional integration of the various body segments. These segments are the legs, arms, pelvis, chest, neck and head. These areas are rich in muscle and joint proprioceptors. Proprioceptors connect to various brain regions and are responsible for the integration of all body structures. Pitch, Roll and Yaw are evaluated together according to the criteria of Applied Physiology. Disruption of neurological switching falls into three categories, with potential signs and symptoms: Postural and motor skills problems, Learning Disabilities, visual and auditory, Sensitivities which may cause neurological system to react incorrectly to external or internal stimuli.

With simple stimulation of acupuncture points and neuro proprioceptive facilitation exercises (Proprioception Integration Technique) we balance neurological switching.

I started my search for healing knowledge and began my career with the study of Acupuncture in 1992.  Acupuncture gave me wonderful techniques and theory, but I was still searching for yet a deeper understanding of our healing abilities. I attended an Applied Physiology Master class in Anatomy and Physiology with Richard Utt in 1998 where I suddenly realized the answer to what I was looking for was with Applied Physiology Hologram program!  Applied Physiology is the crown jewel of the healing modalities.  Richard’s depth of wisdom and understanding concerning healing the body and how we are wired was limitless.  

Richard asked me to come to Tucson and train to teach his work. I felt blessed at this wonderful opportunity. I went on to study with Richard Utt, the American founder of International Institute of Applied Physiology in Tucson, Arizona and became an International Facilitator in 2000.  Sadly Richard Utt our creative genius passed away in 2012. I have dedicated my future to Applied Physiology and am committed to making this professional training available to the world. My love for this modality, and my personal passion and wealth of experience is felt when attending my classes.
