Carolyn’s experience with Reiki began in her teenage years when she spent a month living on Mount Kurama in Kyoto, Japan; the birthplace of Reiki. It is on this mountain that the founder of Reiki, Mikao Usui, received the first divine attunement and the symbols that are used in the practice of Reiki worldwide today.

Having spent her teenage years developing an understanding of energy and spirit, Carolyn received her first attunements to Reiki Level 1 & 2 in the Usui System of Natural Healing in 1998 when she was 25 years old. Since that time Reiki has gifted Carolyn many profound experiences with healing, energy and spirit, so much so that it lead her to dedicate her life to the practice and teaching of this beautiful energy as a Level 4 Master Teacher.

Carolyn has also gone on to complete the Diploma of Energetic Healing from Nature Care College, Sydney and is a qualified Meditation Facilitator. She is a member of the Australian Reiki Connection and the International Institute of Complementary Therapies.
